POST#5: DREAMCATCHERS AND VINTAGE CLOTHES!!!

Hello, I'm going to introduce you to the world of vintage!

Last Friday, I went to a vintage clothes boutique called "Ouna's Closet". I went because I was going to one of their monthly "craft parties", and each of them have a different craft. This time, the craft was dreamcatchers. Dreamcatchers are believed to "catch" nightmares and bad dreams, and in place of those dreams, good dreams. Many people choose to put it on top of their beds, like I did. However, other people choose to wear it as a necklace. A few people came besides me and made other dreamcatchers. I attached a photo of my finished product. The project was fun and after we finished, we relaxed and ate cupcakes and drank lemonade. The "craft parties" are evey 3rd Friday of every month and the next craft will be earring holders. Please bring your own frame!

Have fun!

Last Saturday, I went to Firehouse Subs in San Patricio Plaza, and, instead of normal Coca-Cola, I tried a combination of Coca-Cola and Sprite from the Coca-Cola Freestyle soda fountain.

That soda fountain, is special, because it has a touch-screen that lets you choose between 120+ brands of Coca-Cola products. The fountain also has a handicap mode for those with disabilities. It also has the exclusive Cherry Lime-Aid from Firehouse Subs.

Have a good time @ Firehouse Subs!!

Pizza was invented in Naples, Italy. There is no record of what year it was invented, but I suggest it was invented in the early 16th century. Anyway, one of the BEST pizza places in Puerto Rico is a place called "La Puttanesca",in Santurce. Every Wednesday, my family has "Pizza Night", and we ALWAYS order Papa John's Pizza. But on Wednesday, we had pizza from "La Puttanesca". It was AWESOME. We ordered a half-bacon, half-cheese pizza. It's a New York Style pizzeria, with thin-crust pizza.

Have a good "Pizza Night"!!!

Hello! I'm going to introduce you to the world of baking!

Today, I went to a baking class @ "Chikas Y Chikos Cooking Adventures" in Guaynabo. We'll be making, baking and decorating St. Valentine's Day themed cookies. We'll also be decorating the boxes which will be filled with as many cookies as possible. This place holds a Summer Camp, or your kid can take a Baking Bootcamp, which is a Monday to Friday, week long summer camp. It also has many birthday packages, where you can take up to 25 children (including your kid), you can pick your theme, and choose between cooking pizza or pasta, or bake cupcakes or cookies. I have gone to the 2011 Baking Bootcamp and it was a lot of fun.

Have fun!!!
