POST#14: ABDC SEASON 7!

Hey! So, ABDC season 7 just kicked off with 10 new crews. Those crews are:

Irratik- Montreal, Quebec, Canada- ELIMINATED ON WEEK 3

Fanny Pak- San Fernando Valley, CA (The Valley)
Elektrolytes- Gilbert, AZ
Collizion Crew- Atlanta, GA
Mos Wanted Crew- Los Angeles, CA
Rated Next Generation- Mukilteo, WA


Those are the crews that are competing for the grand prize of $100,000 dollars. Every week, they give out different songs and challenges, by the same artist. On Week 1, it was Britney Spears. On Week 2, it was Flo Rida. And on Week 3, it was Madonna. The judges are Dominic Sandoval  A.K.A  D-Trix from Quest Crew, JC Chasez and Lil' Mama. You can tune in to MTV on Wednesdays @ 10:00 PM eastern time to see the crews battle for their lives on the stage.

POST#13: HARRY POTTER!

Hey! Maria here with my cousin Julia, the ultimate "Harry Potter" fan and expert in my family. 
Julia: Hey! This 7-book series started in an every day place- a coffee shop!
Maria: Is this book series good?
Julia: Yeah or at least I enjoyed it. 
Maria: Tell me the first book's plot.
Julia: Well the whole thing started when Harry was a baby when the darkest wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named or You-Know-Who killed Harry's mom and dad and tried to kill him but he survived with only a scar and some of Voldemort's powers.  Now he has to go live with his aunt and uncle and his cousin on his mom's side. Their greatest fear is someone to find out he is a wizard. So they keep this a secret from him and make up a cover-story that his parents died in a car crash. On his 11th birthday Hagrid a half-giant-half-wizard tells him EVERYTHING. And brings him to Hogwarts School of Whitchcraft and Wizardry where he is sorted into Gryffindor house and plays Seeker on the Gryffindor quidditch team. At Hogwarts he meets Ron Weasley and Hermionie Granger and find out things they should not know.
Maria: Now I'll tell the second book's plot. Harry gets rescued from his aunt and uncle by Fred, George, and Ron in their flying car. The gateway to Platform 9 3\4 seals itself, so Harry and Ron have no choice but to fly the car to Hogwarts, where history is to repeat itself. Harry comes across the diary of  Tom Marvolo Riddle, which responds to Harry.
Julia: In the third year at Hogwarts Hagrid becomes the Care of magical creatures professor where Harry becomes slightly attached to Buckbeak the Hippogriff. That's not the only new class this year Divination which is Harry's least favorite class because the professor keeps predicting his death- no matter what they are studying. (Palm reading, Tea leaves, or crystal balls.) But that's the last thing on his mind- How's Hermionie getting to all of her classes when she has about four classes a term??   
Maria: The Triwizard Tournament happens every 100 years or so. Three schools are staying at Hogwarts. You have to be 17 years old or older to enter your name into The Goblet of Fire. Then how did Harry's name get in there?? Now Harry has to do 3 challenges high above his skill level. The big mystery is who put Harry's name in The Goblet of Fire.
Julia: Now Harry has to battle dementors and go to trial with the Ministry of magic to know if he's expelled or not.He learns about a new group called The Order of the Pheonix to fight Voldemort where Mrs. Weasley continues to fuss over Harry. Slowly Voldemort takes over Harry's brain and he has nightmares that show what is happening with Voldemort and Harry knows what emotions Voldemort is feeling.
Maria: There is a new professor who can turn in a chair, taking Snape's place as potion's master, while Snape is teaching Defense Against The Dark Arts. Harry gets a book that helps him make the correct potions. Ron becomes the Gryffindor Keeper for the Quidditch team, Lavender becomes Ron's girlfriend, which drives Hermoine crazy and sends birds after him.
Julia: In this epic finally the three do not go to Hogwarts instead they go hunting for horrcruxes. Harry and Hermoine forget about Ron and he runs away but comes to their aid in the end. 

POST#12: BACON DEUX!!

As you all know my love for bacon and bacon related things, I have prepared a list of 5 bacon facts and 5 bacon-derived products for bacon lovers : 
1. Bacon comes from the pork belly.
2. Bacon Salt.
3. Sept.3 is "International Bacon Day".
4. Bacon-flavored mayonnaise, which is vegan and vegetarian.
5. Bacon cures hangovers.
6. Bacon-flavored popcorn.
7. Canadian Bacon is NOT real bacon, it is actually smoked pork loin.
8. Chocolate covered bacon.
9. Bacon and eggs are eaten together 71% of the time.
10. Bacon scented car air freshener.

POST#11 : 2012 KCA'S!!

Last Saturday, the 2012 Kids Choice Awards from Nickelodeon was hosted by Will Smith. Some presenters were : Chris Colfer, Heidi Klum, Nathan Kress from iCarly, and much more!! This year's KCA's were AWESOME!! There was this "creepy voice" almost ruining the show, and that voice was... Cee Lo Green!! And Will was blaming almost everyone for the creepy voice, including Halle Berry and his own kids! Plus, there was this mystery celebrity who was supposed to be slimed at the end of the show and that mystery peson was, Justin Bieber! In short the, the KCA's were AWESOME!!
