POST#10: LA TIENDITA DE JOY!!!
In San Patricio Plaza, there is a thrift shop called "La Tiendita De Joy". The shop sells toys, books, CD's, DVD's, clothes, etc. All of the shop's profits go to a homeless selter called "Hogar Del Buen Pastor", which helps it's residents go back on track with their lives. Meanwhile, the residents are educated in different types of art, like mosaics, paintings, etc. The store also sells the residents artwork. They have a Facebook page : La Tiendita De Joy. They accept every donation except underwear and socks. For donations, go to San Patricio Plaza, basement floor, last store on the right. You'll notice it because of the scooter outside.

The concept is great... You can find some great treasures in this store and donate some of yours as well so, is people helping other people to get on their feet again!!!! Maria this is a great way to let others know about this special place! Congrats, you did a great job!
